Paint A Dragon

Visionary art workshop, September 20th- 21st in Honeoye Falls, NY

Dragons are powerful allies to humanity. They are fierce yet elegant, as sharp as a blade and as fluid as a river; A river that can gently flow or rage tempestuously. 

— Within this workshop we will dive deep in a guided inner journey and make contact with a dragon on the inner-plains —

— We will then learn some fundamental artistic skills necessary to portray our newfound ally realistically —

— You can take this class with acrylic paint, oil paints, or even simply a sketchbook and drawing tools of your choice —

— Open to all ages and levels of experience whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional—

What to bring

A sketchbook:

My favorite brands are Kunstpapier, Moleskine, Paperblanks and Strathmore.

Lunch for yourself:

We have a mini fridge where you can store your lunch but no means of heating food up. There are many delightful restaurants within walking distance of the studio.

Drinking water:

We will provide some simple teas and additional drinking water, but it would be good if you bring your own full bottle so we don’t risk running out

Meditation cushion/ what ever you need to sit comfortably:

A part of this class will be a guided meditation. We can provide a few meditation cushions here at Studio Stefan but best to bring one if you have one to ensure that we all are provided for.

Art Supplies:

Once again, this class can be taken in Oils, Acrylics or simply with drawing supplies and a sketchbook. I have a recommended art supply buying guide which you can see here. If you’d like to paint and aren’t ready to invest in your own painting supplies you can pay an optional materials fee ($50 for acrylics/$75 for oils)
